Rockestra Jr is an educational program for students currently enrolled in music programs in their schools.
The program is designed to teach basic musical principles to students, while playing classic rock and roll.
Rockestra Jr is directed by Stephanie Irish, Assistant Director for Rockestra, area music teacher, and accomplished musician and arranger.
Plans are underway to reorganize and reformat this exciting educational opportunity. Currently these plans involve a Festival type experience followed by a concert performance to take place in the spring of 2012.
